The popular video game ‘Just Cause’ will be the basis for a film
Angel Manuel Soto, who directed last year’s ‘Blue Beetle’ comic book adaptation for DC Studios, has decided on his next big directorial project in the form of a long-delayed film based on Square Enix’s popular ‘Just Cause’ video game series.

The screen adaptation is being put into production by Universal Pictures. Prior to Soto, several directors have tried their hands at conceptualising the film. The latest version was produced by the team of ‘John Wick’ series creator David Leetch and his 87North Studios as part of their new contract with Universal Pictures.
